Photo Contest Deadline Extended to Nov. 6th!

Entries are now being accepted for the 2009 WFB Ag Photo contest. If you haven't started taking pictures yet, start clicking away! The deadline to submit entries is now Nov. 6, 2009.

The WFB Ag Photo contest is open to ALL Farm Bureau members.

We’re looking for pictures to help us tell the story of agriculture and especially the Farm Bureau story. One immediate goal of the contest is to compile a diverse collection of photos to display each year at our Annual Meetings. Another goal is to have a large selection of outstanding photos, showcasing Washington agriculture, on display when Washington hosts the AFBF Annual Meeting in 2010 in Seattle.
And of course, the overall goal is to have photos that help tell the Farm Bureau story in all of our communications endeavors.

2009 WFB Photo Contest Categories include:
•    Crops
•    Livestock
•    Faces of Agriculture
•    Farm Bureau in Action
•    Harvest
•    Historical Ag
•    Ag Machines in Action
•    Ag Landscapes
•    Wildlife of Washington
•    Ag seasons of the year (a photo series which should be comprised of at least three pictures)

The WFB 2009 Ag Photo Contest general rules, entry form, labels, and model release form are available for easy download at www.wsfb.com/programs/education.

Be sure to read the submission instructions carefully. Photos that meet the requirements outlined in the rules may be submitted via e-mail to Daniel Turner at dturner@wsfb.com. Please be sure to put the words “photo contest” in the subject line and use a zip program to compress your files before sending.
