  Large Silent Auction area in the banquet hall utilized for meals
  Delegate sessions on Wednesday and Thursday
  Three-hour open period on Wednesday
  Six issue workshops on Tuesday afternoon (instead of Wednesday)
  A “VIP Pass” provided to WFB members to use to recruit a colleague or friend to attend Tuesday’s program at no charge (breakfast thru Fun Night) 
  A large Trade Fair with various displays
 
Other highlights include:
A special Global Warming Forum on Tuesday, Nov. 18, featuring Dr. Jay Lehr of The Heartland Institute (Chicago, Illinois) and Kimball Rasmussen of Deseret Power Electric Cooperative (South Logan, Utah).  Dr. Lehr and Rasmussen discuss the misconceptions of the global warming issue and what leading scientists are now doing to debunk the popular assertions espoused by media and issue activists as to the cause and dangers of climate change.

Bruce Vincent of Libby, Montana, speaks to members on Monday, Nov. 17 and conducts two issue workshops on Tuesday, Nov. 18.  Bruce Vincent is a third- generation logger who helped form and is currently serving as President of Communities For A Great Northwest, Executive Director of Provider Pals and is co-owner of the public relations firm Environomics.  .

Fun Night on Tuesday, Nov. 18, features a fun 70s theme and the entertainment of Mike Rayburn, the “World’s Funniest Guitar Virtuoso”.  Mike has recently been featured in USA Today, Newsweek, Billboard, Gig, American Entertainment, and Campus Activities Today magazines. 

The Washington Farm Bureau Labor Conference on Monday, Nov. 17 (separate registration required)

WFB President Steve Appel’s annual address on Tuesday, Nov. 18, as part of the annual meeting’s opening general session, which features a special music presentation by the Wenatchee High School Choir.  

WFB Banquet on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
