About Employer Services:
BASIC SERVICES

In order to qualify for Farm Bureau’s Employer Services Program you need to be a current Farm Bureau member with at least one employee – and a desire for an affordable yet comprehensive labor and employment service.

Do you know all the local, state and federal rules for employers?  Although many employment issues are universal, laws surrounding seasonal employers can be especially complex, and that is our specialty.  Our mission is to be your resource for every labor and employment need, but what we are really offering is peace of mind.  Here are our services:

  • Unlimited Free Human Resource Advice
  • Comprehensive Desk Book
  • Free Legal Consultations
  • Labor Briefs
  • Monthly Newsletter
  • Regulations Explained
  • Sample Policy Manuals
  • I-9 Audits

LEGAL CONSULTATION
Free Attorney Consultations: For the really tough questions, you receive three hours free attorney time from a top labor and employment attorney each year and a 20% discount thereafter.  That’s a $750 value when you enroll in the Employer Services program.

PUBLICATIONS
Employer Essentials: A monthly advisory newsletter published specifically for employers keeping you abreast of the latest news and issues affecting labor with an emphasis on seasonal and agricultural employers.

Employer Desk Book and CD: A reference manual for agricultural labor and employment issues -- updated annually.

Labor Briefs: Briefings posted on a member-only section of our website, covering the latest labor issues.

CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS
Annual Labor Conference: Employer Services sponsors an annual conference where employers can come together to hear presentations from state and federal agencies, attorneys, labor specialists, and a keynote address on current issues.

Timely Issue-Based Seminars: As labor and HR issues arise throughout the year, Employer Services coordinates in-depth guidance for business owners and HR professionals with the latest information concerning proposed legislation and special circumstances in Washington.
